With tonight’s loss, Memphis now leads the all-time series 23-14.
Despite tonight’s setback, the Tigers have won 23 of the last 26 meetings with the Golden Hurricane.
Tonight’s loss ended the Tigers’ win streak in the series at three straight.
The 18-point Memphis loss was the biggest in the series with Tulsa. The previous largest margin of defeat was 17 points on two occasions (80-63 in 1964-65; 64-47 in 1967-68).

Memphis’ loss tonight is the first regular-season setback in the city of Tulsa since the 1970-71 season. Before tonight’s setback, the Tigers had won their last 11 regular-season games in the city of Tulsa (10 wins over Tulsa; 1 over Oral Roberts).
Prior to tonight’s loss, Memphis’ last setback to the Golden Hurricane in the city of Tulsa came on Jan. 16, 1971 – 44 seasons ago.
