With its win tonight, Memphis now trails the all-time series with Cincinnati 38-32.
The Tigers’ win tonight ended Cincinnati’s two-game win streak in the series.
With tonight’s win, Memphis now has a 21-12 lead in games played in the Bluff City.
The Tigers snapped a two-game losing streak against Cincinnati and picked up their first win over the Bearcats since Dec. 29, 2008.

  Team Notes

Memphis was 6-of-13 from the three-point arc vs. Cincinnati. It was the 471st-consecutive game in which the Tigers hit at least one three-pointer. The last time Memphis failed to hit a three-pointer was vs. Alabama in November of 2001.
Memphis is now 9-0 this season when holding opponents to under 40 percent field goal percentage.
The Tigers tied a season high with 20 forced turnovers by Cincinnati.
Memphis was outrebounded tonight 31-26 by Cincinnati. It is the first time this season that the Tigers were outrebounded and won the game (1-4 record).

  Players Notes

Avery Woodson played the entire second half vs. Cincinnati tonight. Kedren Johnson and Austin Nichols played the entire second half until under a minute left when they were subbed out.
Kedren Johnson played a season-high 34 minutes in tonight’s game. He handed out a season-bests in assists (5) and points (13) vs. the Bearcats.
Calvin Godfrey grabbed eight rebounds and scored eight points tonight.
Avery Woodson scored 14 points tonight. It was his seventh double-figure scoring game of the season.
