Memphis Finishes First and Second Rounds at Inverness Intercollegiate

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis men's golf team completed its first and second rounds at the Inverness Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Toledo. The Tigers' finished +57 with a 309-316--625 after the first two rounds, in 12th-place on the 7,300 yard-par 71 course.
Sophomore Lars Van Meijel and junior Florian Loutre led the team in the first round with five-over, 76s. Loutre finished 16-over with a 76-82 in his opening two rounds. Junior John Luke Tyner fired a +4 to lead the team in the second round. Van Meijel, Tyner and sophomore Eithel McGowen are all tied atop the Tigers' leaderboard with a 157 (+15) and tied for 40th overall.
