- Tonight’s meeting between the former Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) foes was the first since the 2006 NCAA Tournament West Region semifinal (80-64 UofM win).
- Tonight’s contest was the first regular-season meeting between Memphis and Bradley since 1988-89 season (84-77 UofM win in Memphis).

The Tigers defeated Northern Iowa, another Missouri Valley Conference foe, by a score of 52-47. The last time Memphis held an opponent to 45 points or less was on Feb. 11, 2012 vs UAB (79-45).
- With tonight’s win, Memphis avoided losing back-to-back games for the first time since near the start of the 2012-13 campaign. The last time the Tigers dropped consecutive games was in November of 2012 when they lost to VCU and Minnesota in the Battle 4 Atlantis.

- Sophomore Kuran Iverson saw his first action of the season vs. Bradley tonight. He played 11 minutes and had two points . Iverson missed season’s first five games due to a concussion.
- Junior Shaq Goodwin posted his sixth career double-double tonight with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
- Shaq Goodwin’s 12-rebound performance was the 47th game in which he grabbed five or more rebounds.
- Sophomore Nick King came off the bench for the first time this season. He netted double figures with 11 points vs. the Braves.
- Junior Kedren Johnson made his first start Saturday since the Nov. 18 season opener.
- Kedren Johnson hit his first three-point as a Tiger Saturday vs. Bradley.
- Sophomore Austin Nichols started his 39th-straight game Saturday.
- Austin Nichols had three blocks vs. Stephen F. Austin Tuesday. It was his fourth multi-block game of the season and the 16th of his career.
