- With today’s win, Memphis extends its series advantage over Oral Roberts to 7-2. The Tigers have won the last seven meetings with the Golden Eagles. Oral Roberts’ last win in the series was in the 1975 NIT.
- With today’s win, the Tigers improved their record against Summit League foes to 9-2. Under head coach Josh Pastner, Memphis is 3-0 vs. the Summit League.Memphis out-rebounded Oral Roberts 48-34 today, marking the seventh time this season the Tigers out-rebounded their opponent. Memphis has a 6-1 record when it out-rebounds its opponents.

- Memphis had 15 blocked shots vs. Oral Roberts Saturday. The 15 blocks are tied for most for a game in Tigers history. The last time Memphis blocked 15 shots was Nov. 30, 2005, in a win over Jackson State. Memphis also posted 15 blocks against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 30, 1995.
- The Tigers shot over 75 percent from the free throw line in today’s win (84 percent). Memphis is 4-0 this season when shooting 75 percent or better from the charity stripe.

His eight blocks rank tied for the third-most for a game in program history and most since D.J. Stephens had eight blocks against Saint Mary’s Mar. 21, 2013.
- Austin Nichols’ eight-blocks performance was his ninth multi-block game of the season and the 21st of his career
