Tigers Move Up to Fourth at Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - The University of Memphis men's golf team notched an impressive round and a half at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate at Blackthorn before play was suspended for the second consecutive day due to rain. The Tigers are in fourth place at three-under for the tournament through the front nine of the second round. The completion of the second round will take place before the final round on Sunday.

Lars Van Meijel entered the clubhouse at two-under par and in a tie for 12th-place before the rains came while senior Cory Gaylord was three-under par as play was suspended. Thomas Perrot, Eithel McGowen and Florian Loutre fired an even round, +2 and +6 rounds, respectively.
