Stephens Claims Intersport's Dunks Of The Year Competition

CHICAGO, Ill. --University of Memphis junior D.J. Stephens was named Intersport's Dunks of the Year winner during the production company's one-hour television special that aired late Monday night on ESPN2.
The show featured college basketball's top slams from the 2011-12 season, as voted on by Facebook fans. Stephens was announced as the Intersport Dunks of the Year winner at the conclusion of Monday's show.
Stephens, whose Feb. 4 dunk versus Xavier placed him in the competition, was up for the honor along with Campbell's Eric Griffin, Indiana's Victor Oladipo, Kentucky's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Darius Miller, Washington's Tony Wroten, Wyoming's Larry Nance Jr. and Xavier's Dez Wells.
