• Memphis runs its record to 10-0 against UCF. The average margin of victory in those games `falls' to 20.5 points.
• Owning Florida: Being 3-0 against schools from the state of Florida isn't enough for the Tigers. Memphis has now won 13 straight against universities from Florida, with the last loss coming to South Florida, Jan. 18, 2003.
• Freshman Will Barton ran his streak of scoring in double figures to eight games in a row, finishing with 15 points. He also led or tied for the lead in rebounds (7) and assists (5) for the second game in a row.
• All good things end: Memphis came into the evening holding opponents to an average of 22.3 percent from beyond the arc, including a stingy 1-for-15 allowed in the previous meeting with UCF, Jan. 26. This time around, Memphis allowed the Knights to shoot 50 percent (8-for-16) from three-point territory, the first opponent to hit 50 percent from downtown since SMU hit 9-for-16 on Jan. 12.
• Freshman Tarik Black tied his career-high with five blocks, a career-high he set against UCF on Jan. 26. He also chipped in with 11 points, including the 200th of his Memphis career.
• Memphis forced a season-low tying nine turnovers.
• Freshman Antonio Barton, in addition to nailing the game-winner with 2.6 seconds left, was 4-for-7 from downtown for 14 points. He's now shooting exactly 50 percent (31-for-62) from three-point range this season.
• Antonio Barton also scored his 200th career point in a Tiger uniform.
• Senior Will Coleman had his 10th double-digit scoring performance of the season, with 10 points.
• The Tigers run their record to 14-1 when opponents hit less than 45 percent of their shots from the field.
• The U of M committed a season-low 12 fouls.
• For the Conference USA leaders in steals per game (9.1 after this contest), Memphis hasn't been capitalizing on recent opponents mistakes. In their past four contests, Memphis is now averaging 7.5 points off turnovers.
