Series Notes
 This is the first meeting between the two schools since 1992 when Memphis beat Robert Morris 78-63 at the Pyramid. Memphis leads the series 2-0 following Thursday's win.
 The Tigers now have an all-time record of 2-2 versus Northeast Conference foes.

 Tarik Black set a career high with seven blocks. He leads the team with 21 blocks this season. His seven blocked shots are the third-most in single-game history.

 Ferrakohn Hall made his first start as a Memphis Tigers on Thursday and finished with seven points, and eight boards.
 Charles Carmouche saw his first game action since the Nov. 23 matchup against Georgetown.
 The Colonials 18 first half points are the fewest allowed by Memphis this season, bettering the 19 first half points scored by Jackson State on Nov. 28.
 Robert Morris shot 6-for-31 from the field (19.4 percent) marking the Tigers defense best half of the season. Jackson State was 7-for-27 (25.9 percent) from the floor on Nov. 28).
