Series Notes

Georgetown now leads the overall series 10-2 and has won four-straight dating back to the 2008-09 season. 
Memphis is 0-3 in the series in games played in Washington, D.C. 
The Tigers now have an all-time record of 127-143 versus current Big East Conference foes. 
The Hoyas become the first non-conference foe to beat the Tigers twice in the same season since Arkansas achieved the feat in the 1994-95 campaign.

Game Notes

Memphis shot 34.6 percent in the first half (9-26), the third time the Tigers were held below 35 percent from the floor in the opening frame.
Chris Crawford collected a season-high 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field. 
Memphis opened the second half shooting 1-of-7 from the field to fall behind by as many as 20, but shot 8-of-10 to cut the lead to 10 with 8:36 remaining in regulation.
