• The Tigers fall to 8-14 all-time against the Vols, including 3-7 all-time in Knoxville.
• Memphis has won 14 of its past 20 games against SEC opponents, but has dropped four of its last six games against the Vols.
• This was the first time the Tigers allowed 100 points in a regular season game since Feb. 16, 2000, when they were defeated 102-75 by UAB. It was the Tigers first loss by 20 or more points since a defeat against Maryland, 84-61, on Nov. 26, 2004.
• Senior Will Coleman scored in double figures for the 12th time in his career, and fourth time this season, finishing with 17 points.
• Sophomore DJ Stephens blocked a career-high three shots.
• Freshman Joe Jackson tallied four assists, his third consecutive game with at least four helpers and the eighth time in 14 contests this year he's finished with at least four assists.
• Freshman Will Barton tied a career-high with three steals, the 11th time in 14 games this season a Tiger has come away with at least three steals.
• Memphis allowed season-highs for one half in field goals made allowed (20) and points allowed (49).
• Freshman Chris Crawford had his consecutive games with a made three-pointer streak stopped at eight.
• With six assists and nine turnovers in the first half, Memphis had its first game with a negative assist/turnover ratio since the first half against Georgetown, Dec. 23.
