With Saturday's victory, the Tigers now lead the all-time series with SMU 9-2
Memphis' 15 three-pointers on Saturday is a season-high for the Tigers. The mark ties the second-most three-pointers in the program history. The Tigers have hit 15 three-pointers on seven occasions. They last did so on Jan. 5, 2008 against Pepperdine. The previous season-high was 12 three-pointers against UALR and Central Arkansas during non-conference play
Wesley Witherspoon had career-high six assists on Saturday night
The Tigers staved off a series sweep by SMU on Saturday. The Mustangs defeated the Tigers, 70-60, earlier this season. Memphis has not been swept by a conference opponent in the regular season since losing both home and away games to Southern Miss during the 2000-01 season
