Memphis splits with NC State, Kentucky

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Memphis Rifle recently split matches with North Carolina State and Kentucky on campus at the University of Kentucky.
On Oct. 10 the Tigers defeated the North Carolina State Wolfpack 4,536 (2,314 air rifle/2,222 smallbore) to 4,511 (2,229 air rifle/2,212 smallbore).
Kaitlynn Lee registered three 99s in six rounds to lead all shooters with a 587 in air rifle. Kelly Audet shot 582, Keegan Singleton 581, and Jenna Quick 564. Jessica Phenis, shooting as an individual, shot a 577 in air rifle, while Rustin Russell shot 574, and Greg Morton 563.
In smallbore shooting, Quick shot a 569 to lead all shooters, Lee shot a 558, Phenis a 554, Singleton a 550, and Audet and Russell both shot a 549.
The following day Memphis lost to last year's National Runner-ups host Kentucky 4,668-4,535.
In smallbore, Quick led Memphis with a 571 score, while Lee shot a 562. Singleton shot a 552, and Phenis a 548.
In air rifle, Lee shot a 582, Singleton a 577, Audet a 572, and Quick a 571.
Memphis Rifle returns to action this Saturday and Sunday when they shoot against Nebraska and Army at Ole Miss.
