Jared's Journal

Hello, Tiger fans,
This is my first journal entry this year, so I figured I would just set out the basics here and write more about what's happening with the team in the next entries. So, here it goes:
About Me:
My name is Jared Sandridge and I have three brothers and one
sister. I graduated from Christian Brothers High School in
Memphis in 2001. I previously played basketball at
Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas, before coming to Memphis.
Why Memphis:
After finishing at Angelina, I had gotten used to being back
home in Memphis again. With the help of many people,
especially Flynn Wallace, I had the opportunity to walk on
at the U of M. It was the best situation for me because
I am able to learn from one of the best coaches and
teachers in the game, and at the same time, be at home with
my family and spend the rest of my collegiate career with
them.
Purpose of this Journal:
For the remainder of the season I will have an entry posted
on-line, so that everyone will be able to hear about some of
things that are going on in practice and things that fans
do not get to see because they do not happen during games.
I have an email address set up that everyone has access to
so that you can email me any questions or comments that you
might have. I will personally read all of the emails, but
try to make sure the questions pertain to that of the team
and not to specific players. A new entry will appear every
week to inform you of the most recent and up-to-date
information about the team.
The Season:
It would take way to long to go over every game for the
first half of the season. Obviously, we have gotten off to
a great start and want to finish the year better than the
way we started it. I am not going to say anything
specifically about the first half, but if there are any
questions that you would like the answer to about the first
half of the year, feel free to send me an email, and I will
be happy to answer the questions.
Talk to you soon and Go Tigers Go,
Jared
