Tigers Seventh At Missouri Tournament

The University of Memphis Tiger golf team posted team scores of 296-290 in the opening two rounds of the prestigious Nestle' Purina Classic in St. Charles, MO, and are in seventh place with 18-holes remaining.
Kansas State University leads the team competition with a score of 23 under par 545. Texas-San Antonio is second at 566, while Miami (Ohio) is third at even par 568. Host institution Missouri is fourth at 572 and Southeastern Louisiana rounds out the top five with a 574.
Michael Radek of Missouri leads all players with a score of seven under par 135. Senior David Jeans shot even par 142 for his first two rounds and leads the Tiger team. Freshman Lewis Clarke and junior Allan Thomas are tied for 31st at 148 and Alan Weant came in tied for 35th with a 149.
Finals round play is set for Tuesday.
