University of Memphis basketball coach John Calipari announced Monday that junior point guard Courtney Trask has left the team.
"We are disappointed," Calipari said. "We expected Courtney to be a big part of our team this year. Last season was a trying time for him. He wanted to be closer to home and his family. We wish him the best because he is a good, young man."
Trask started 36 of the 51 games he played during his two-year career at Memphis and averaged 7.7 points, 3.7 assists and 2.9 rebounds.
