Francella Named C-USA Golfer of the Week

Memphis, TN - U of M Lady Tiger golfer Meaghan Francella was named the C-USA Golfer of the Week for her platy in the UNC-Wilmington Lady Seahawk Invitational March 26-27 in Wallace, North Carolina. Francella had rounds of 79-72-77 in helping her team to a sixth place finish and to place sixth individually.

In eight tournament events this year, the Port Chester, NY, native has had six top twenty finishes and four top ten finishes, including winning medalist honors at the Edwin Watts/Carolinas Classic at Pinehurst in February.
