Memphis, Tenn.-- - The University of Memphis men's tennis team (13-8, 1-3) wrapped up its regular season with a 6-1 win over Murray State, Saturday.
The Tigers won the No. 1 and 2 doubles matches and received a default at No. 3 to win the team doubles point, 1-0. A second default was received by the Tigers at No. 6 singles to put Memphis up 2-0 before the singles competitions began.
The Tigers then swept No. 2 - No. 5 with straight-set wins to earn their 13th win of the season.
Memphis, which just climbed into the national rankings Apr. 11th, will find out Monday where they are seeded for the Conference USA Championships, which will be hosted by Tulane, beginning Thursday.
