Chapel Hill, NC - The University of Memphis Lady Tiger golf team remains in a tie for 10th place after two rounds of the 2001 Franklin Street Trust/Lady Tar Heel Intercollegiate in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The Lady Tigers posted a score of 323 in Saturday action and have a two day total of 637.
Duke University, the nation's number one team, is leading the three day event with a team score of 598, while North Carolina is second at 606 and Vanderbilt is third with a team score of 608. Georgia and Furman round out the top five with scores of 612 and 613.
Vanderbilt's Nicki Cutler is leading the field with a 36-hole score of three over par 147. Memphis's Meaghan Francella is tied for 13th with rounds of 76-76. She leads all Lady Tiger scorers. Marianne Ruud is tied for 39th with a 160.
