Lindsay Crowdus enters her first season as a volunteer assistant for the Memphis softball program in 2020.
A 2017 Memphis graduate with a degree in child development, Crowdus has spent time after graduation heading up a softball program in her hometown area of Houma, La. called the Naturals. She is also just a semester away from graduating with her master’s in applied behavior analysis from Nicholls State University.Â
Crowdus was the 2017 Co-American Athletic Conference Player of the Year as well as a finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Award. A first team all-conference selection, Crowdus shattered the school record with a .451 batting average and finished with a .359 career batting average. She recorded a program-record 83 hits and finished with nine triples in 2017.Â
She also stole 64 bases in her career including 33 as a senior. Crowdus finished her career third on the all-time list in on base percentage (.403) and runs scored (112). She started and played in 209 games for the Blue and Gray.Â
As the volunteer assistant, Crowdus will assist the Tiger coaching staff in various areas. Â
