Tonya Gibbs joined the Memphis Athletic Department in Nov. 2023 as Associate Director of Athletic Stewardship and Special Events. In the role, she manages development events and premium area hospitality, assists with donor stewardship and organizes athletic department events.

Gibbs' previous work experience includes working three years at a local non-profit and interning in athletic marketing during her time in undergrad at the University of Memphis. She earned her bachelor's degree in Event Management and Marketing in Dec. 2020.
