Taylor Sanderson

Taylor Sanderson joined the Memphis Athletics staff as Assistant Athletic Director, Leadership Giving in December 2021 and was promoted to his current title of Associate Athletic Director, Development in September 2023.
In his current role as Associate Athletics Director, Development, Sanderson serves as a member of the athletics senior staff and as a team Lead for the Memphis Athletics Fund. Sanderson oversees major giving initiatives including the Tiger Leadership Circle, capital project fundraising and premium seating sales.
Prior to joining Memphis, Sanderson spent 2018-21 as Director of Development, Major Gifts at the University of Missouri, where one of his team's accomplishments included breaking the school's all-time fundraising record by raising $55 million in 2020-21. Prior to that, Sanderson spent a year and a half at the University of Nebraska as a Development Assistant.
Sanderson earned his bachelor's degree in finance and management at Iowa State University in 2016, where he was a two-time All-American decathlete and Big 12 champion for the Cyclones. He also competed for the United States National Team in the decathlon in the 2017 Pan American Cup. Sanderson earned his master's degree in business from the University of Nebraska in 2018.
Sanderson and his wife, Shauna, have two daughters, Olivia and Alaina.
