Edwards joined the Memphis Athletic Department in July 2026 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Events and Facilities.

In his current role, Edwards supports the overall planning, coordination and execution of athletic events and daily facility operations for the department. He also serves as the primary game administrator for the volleyball and softball programs.

Most recently, Edwards was at Belmont University form 2024-26, serving as a graduate assistant for facilities and operations. In that role, he served as a game administrator for men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball. He also coordinated and confirmed visiting team and official information for the CURB Event Center and E.S. Rose Park.

Prior to working at Belmont, Edwards was a student equipment manager with the University of Tennessee football program, assisting in practice and gameday operations while streamlining inventory management of gear for players and coaches.

Edwards holds a bachelor's degree in education with a focus in sports management from Tennessee, and a master's degree in sports administration from Belmont.
