Michelle Gersuk is an athletic trainer from Bellevue, Washington, with a robust background in sports medicine. While pursuing her undergraduate degree in kinesiology at Indiana University, she earned her Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license and worked as an EMT/first responder for recreational sports, gaining hands-on experience in emergency care. She then continued her education at Indiana University, earning a master's degree in athletic training. During her graduate studies, Gersuk gained extensive experience, spending two seasons with the university’s football team, a full season with a high school football team, and working with a variety of other sports teams, further honing her skills in athletic care and injury management.

In 2020, she expanded her professional experience by completing a summer internship with the Indianapolis Colts. Upon completing her internship, Gersuk moved to Memphis in January 2021, where she served as a fellow with the University of Memphis football team for over two years. During this time she obtained her certification in dry needling and her sports manual therapy certification.

In May 2024, Gersuk transitioned into a full-time role as the assistant athletic trainer for the University of Memphis’ women’s basketball and rifle teams.
