Letonia Williams joined the Memphis Athletic Department in April 1998 as a window teller and moved into her current role as Assistant Director of Customer Service in August 2025. She is the longest tenured active employee within the Memphis Athletic Department, currently having served the university for 27 years and 5 months, as of September 2025.

In her current role, she manages customer relations and season-ticket sales retention efforts for the ticket office. These responsibilities include hiring, training and managing current student worker staff and volunteers to assist in the office with customer relations.

Williams has worked in all aspects of ticketing and customer relations within Memphis Athletics, spending eight years as a window teller, selling tickets, assisting customers and working all game day events. She then worked as a ticket office supervisor for 14 years, managing staff and student workers and handling game day ticketing operations. She spent five years as the Assistant Director of Ticketing, working closely with customer relations, before moving into her current role as Assistant Director of Customer Service, managing customer relations and season-ticket retention.

Williams, a graduate of nearby Melrose High School, enjoys decorating in her free time.
