Kimi Videto, a former Tigers pole vaulter, joined Memphis Athletics in March 2020, where she serves as the Athletic Academic Counselor for men's and women's cross country and track and field and women's soccer. She also teaches a student-athlete section of ACAD 1100.
Prior to joining the staff at the Center for Athletic Academic Services (CAAS), Videto was an academic advisor for the School of Health Studies at the University of Memphis. Previously, she served as an Athletic Academic Coordinator at Utah State University for two years, where she also worked with men's and women's cross country and track and field. She was also heavily involved with SAAC, Student-Athlete Mentors and Student-Athlete Development.
Videto is a member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) and was a participant of the NCAA's Career in Sports Forum in 2015. She earned her undergraduate degree in sport and leisure management and a master's degree in sport commerce from the University of Memphis.
When not at work, you can find Videto spending time with her husband, Chris, family and friends. She also enjoys watching any sports, going to concerts and traveling.
