Bryce Sorrier joined the Memphis Athletic Department as the head football trainer in May 2022 after spending the 2018-22 at Georgia Southern, where he was in a similar role for the 2020 and 2021 campaigns. Sorrier is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day athletic training needs of the Memphis Tiger football program.

Prior to Georgia Southern, Sorrier's other career stops include Eastern Michigan for two seasons, three-and-a-half seasons at Owasso High School and two years as an assistant athletic trainer at Arizona, which followed a two-year graduate assistantship.

Sorrier graduated from the University of Georgia in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in Education, Exercise and Sport Science, and he earned his master's degree from the University of Arizona in Teaching and Teacher Education in 2011.

Sorrier and his wife, Amanda, have two daughters, Savannah and Maggie, and two dogs, Stafford and Stinson.
