A three-sport athlete, Jalal ran track and field and was a competitive swimmer in addition to competing on the pitch … was a member of Team Alberta in the Canada Summer Games in 2017 … competed on the Scottish Angels Major League Women’s club team, and is a current member of the Canadian National Pool of Players.

Personal:
Jalal is the daughter of Sohail and Kim Jalal ... enjoys coaching the U10 Phoenix FC Girls team when not competing herself ... she also loves sports photography, reading, drawing, and working out ... has earned Honors and Merit in grades 9-12 and is a part of the mentorship program ... chose the University of Memphis because she respects how it values academics as much as the team.
