2008-09 (Sophomore): Averaged 5.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game while playing in all 30 Tiger contests...Started at center for 22 games and led the team with 37 blocked shots on the season...Had her first career double-double in the win over Louisiana Tech (11 pts., 11 rebs)...Had double-digit rebounds in five games, including three straight games (Wichita State, Stephen F. Austin, Arkansas)...Scored double-digit points three times, finishing with a season-best 12 points on 5-for-5 shooting in the loss to Marshall in the C-USA tournament...Her 14 rebounds in the win over Wichita State was a career high...Her four blocked shots in the win at UAB was also a career-best effort...91 of her 191 rebounds on the season came off the offensive glass...Her 55 career blocks moves her in to the career top 10 at Memphis...She ranks eighth all-time with 55 blocks...Named to the Tiger 3.0 Club following the fall semester.
2007-08 (Freshman): Averaged 2.7 points and 3.1 rebounds per game while playing in 29 of 30 games in her freshman season...Scored double-digit points in one game, knocking down 14 points on perfect 5-for-5 shooting from the field at Marshall...Also tied a career-high with eight rebounds at Marshall...Had five offensive rebounds vs. Loyola at the Florida Gulf Coast tournament and five against against UA-Pine Bluff...Had a career-best three blocked shots against Alabama A&M...Was perfect from the field in seven games, and was 18-for-24 from the field in the final nine games of the season...Averaged 10.6 minutes per game for the season, but saw double-digit minutes in 11 of the last 15 games of the season.
Prep: Averaged 11.7 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per game while helping her Wichita Heights team to a second straight Kansas 6A State Championship Title...Was named a Kansas Basketball Coaches Association (KBCA) All State honorable mention player following her senior season...Her Falcons team, guided by Kip Pulliam, capped the year as the No. 9 ranked team in the country by USA Today...Ellis was named a Topeka Capital Journal All-Class 6A Third team honoree as a senior...As a junior, Ellis averaged 10.2 points and 10.7 rebounds a game and was named an All-Great Wichita Athletic League Second Team honoree...Also played club ball with the Wichita Heat under coach Tony Summer, a team that won three spring tournaments and went 10-0 in preparation for the summer travel season...As a junior, Ellis was named an All Class 6A honorable mention honoree...Started on her high school team since she was a sophomore...Her prep team won the Nike Tournament of Champions in Fort Smith, Arkansas as a junior.
