Reagan Griffin Jr., a rising coach and player development specialist with experience across the collegiate and professional ranks, was named Director of Player Development and Video Analytics by head coach Hana Haden in June 2026.
Griffin joins the Tigers with a diverse basketball résumé that spans NCAA and WNBA programs, with focuses on skill development, opponent scouting, and video analysis. In his role, he will oversee player development initiatives, coordinate video and analytics operations, support opponent scouting efforts, and assist in the continued growth of the program's student-athletes both on and off the court.
Griffin began his collegiate basketball career at the University of Southern California, where he served as a practice player and manager for the women's basketball program under head coach Lindsay Gottlieb from 2021-24. During his time with the Trojans, USC captured the 2024 Pac-12 Championship and advanced to the 2024 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, marking one of the program's most successful seasons in recent history.
In addition to his collegiate experience, Griffin gained professional exposure as a practice player for the Los Angeles Sparks under former head coach Curt Miller, further expanding his understanding of elite player development and professional basketball operations.
Following his time at USC, Griffin joined the women's basketball staff at Texas A&M University as a graduate assistant under head coach Joni Taylor from 2024-26. While with the Aggies, he assisted with player development, video analysis, scouting preparation, practice operations, and day-to-day program support.
Griffin also spent the 2025 season with the Dallas Wings as a basketball attendant reporting to former head coach Chris Koclanes, specializing in skill development and contributing to the organization's player enhancement efforts throughout the season.
A 2019 graduate of Memphis University School, Griffin returns home with a passion for developing student-athletes and growing the game in a city that has played a foundational role in shaping his life and career.
