2008 Outdoor: Garrett Ran the 1500m run, the 3000m steeplechase, and the 5000m run...He set a personal best time in the 5000m run at the first meet of the outdoor season at the Rhodes Open Meet with a time of 16:21.30 finishing in 28th place...Garrett notched an 11th place finish in the 1500m run at the SEMOtion relays with a time of 4:12.25...He set a personal best 1500m run time at the Ole Miss May Invitational meet and notched a top-10 finish as he finished tenth and ran a time of 4:08.44...He notched three top-10 finishes in the 3000m steeplechase with a fourth place finish at the Ole Miss Invitational with a time of 9:55.72...Setting a personal best time of 9:47.37 in the 3000m steeplechase earned him a ninth place finish at the John McDonnell Invitational in 2008...At the C-USA Outdoor Championships he ran the 3000m steeplechase placing 10th with a time of 10:18.63.
