2016 (Freshman) - Played in 14 matches for the Tigers with four starts ... all four of his starts came in a row starting with the victory over SIUE on Sept. 14 ... with 448 minutes on the pitch, he fired 12 shots ... was primarily a forward for the Tigers.

Prior to Memphis - Sean Gouveia played forward and midfield for Belleville West High School in Illinois and St. Louis Scott Gallagher before enrolling this spring at the University of Memphis. He was a two-year letter winner, as well as team captain for one season. While playing for Belleville West, Gouveia earned many accolades including, First Team All-State, First Team All-Area, All Metro, and All Conference honors. He led his team with the most goals in a single season (27).
