University of Memphis Athletics
Men's Basketball Postseason History

As the program nears its 100th season, University of Memphis basketball has a rich and storied tradition to celebrate. With over 1,500 wins, 44 postseason tournament berths, three NCAA Final Fours, two NCAA title game appearances, four NIT final fours and the 2002 NIT championship, Tiger Nation’s fond memories of its program are not only tied to wins, conference crowns and March Madness tournament runs.
Tigers basketball tradition – as the knowledgeable Memphis fan base can tell you – was and continues to be built on the talented players that come through the program wearing the Blue and Gray and the tremendous coaches that molded those players into some of the greatest teams in both school and college basketball history.
