Lashlee, Eben McIntyre Earn Nods on Preseason American Conference Team

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference announced its preseason honors and poll on Tuesday ahead of the 2026 men's soccer season, with Memphis' Miller Lashlee and Eben McIntyre being named preseason all-conference selections.
Lashlee, a sophomore from Byhalia, Mississippi, is coming off a freshman campaign where in limited opportunities, he led the American in goals during conference play with five. The 2025 All-Freshman selection scored in three-straight conference matches before picking up his fourth and fifth goals of the season within two minutes of play, garnering recognition as the American Conference Freshman of the Week twice in 2025.
McIntyre enters his final collegiate season after his first season at Memphis in 2025. In his first season with the program, McIntyre registered 11 points on three goals and five assists, also finishing third in minutes played. The Charleroi, Pennsylvania native had a pair of performances with a goal and an assist, earning an American Conference Weekly Honorable Mention nod, as well as being voted the American's Offensive Player of the Week after a three-point night against Tulsa.

Memphis opens the season with an in-state road matchup at Belmont, scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kick. The Tigers look to restart a winning streak that was snapped at 18 games with a loss to the Bruins at home last season.
