Memphis, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's tennis team fell to Ole Miss 4-1 in Oxford, Mississippi, on Friday.

No. 87 Sam Reeve/Marcos Castro Fabra got a huge win in doubles, defeating the 18^th ranked pair of Isac Stromberg/Kai Milburn by a score of 6-2. The duo now sits at 6-2 on the season. The Tigers dropped the remaining two matches, securing the doubles point for the Rebels.

In singles, the Tigers would fall into a 0-2 hole as Marko Milosavljevic suffered defeat on court five. Marcos Castro Fabra got Memphis on the board with a 6-3, 6-3 win on court three. Castro Fabra improved his perfect singles record to 6-0. Soon after, courts one and two finished, with Maxime Dubouch and Sam Reeve falling in their matches in two sets to give Ole Miss the 4-1 victory.

Memphis drops to 5-3 and will return home on Sunday, Feb. 15, for a doubleheader with Indiana and Alcorn State. The matches are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at Leftwich Tennis Center. Admission to the matches is free.
