
Wang Shoots 73 in Opening Round of Auburn Regional

AUBURN, Ala. – University of Memphis men's golfer Yixiang Wang finished round one of the Auburn Regional in the NCAA Tournament at one over par and in a share of 31st place.
Wang, who recorded birdies on holes six and 12 today, shot a 36 on the back nine of the course today to put him at one over par heading into tomorrow's second round. He sits just eight strokes behind current leader, Brendan Valdes from Auburn.
Wang will tee off for tomorrow's second round beginning at 9:42 a.m.
