No. 44 Tigers Fall to No. 48 Middle Tennessee, Belmont

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The University of Memphis men's tennis team suffered back-to-back losses Sunday afternoon after a nail-biting 4-3 loss to Middle Tennessee and a 4-2 decision to Belmont.

Against the Blue Raiders, Memphis went ahead after taking the doubles point and consecutive singles victories from Conor Gannon and Pablo Alemany. But, MTSU came back with four straight singles wins to take the match.

Belmont went ahead following the doubles point and a retirement on court five. Once against, Gannon and Alemany kept the Tigers in the match, but the Bruins momentum kept them on top for the 4-2 win.

The Tigers are back at Leftwich Tennis Center on Friday, April 4 to host Florida Atlantic. First serve is set for 5 p.m.
