Memphis Athletics Teams with FedEx for Power of Girls in Sports Clinic

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis athletics department has teamed with FedEx to announce the inaugural Power of Girls in Sports Clinic on Saturday, April 12.
Held in the Laurie Walton Family Basketball Center on the Park Avenue campus, girls in grades 3-6 are invited to join female student-athletes and staff members for sessions on life skills, building confidence, and developing a healthy lifestyle while participating in sports. Attendees will receive lunch, provided by Chick-fil-A, an event t-shirt, and the opportunity to participate in an autograph session with Memphis student-athletes.
The event begins at 11:15 a.m., with check-in beginning at 10:45 a.m. Following the clinic, attendees and their families are encouraged to head across the street to support Memphis Softball against Charlotte beginning at 3 p.m. and Memphis Women's Soccer against Ole Miss starting at 5 p.m.
The deadline to sign up is Monday, April 7 and spots are limited to 200. All attendees must complete a waiver to participate. Sign-ups and the waiver can be found AT THIS LINK.
