Tigers Take Seventh Place in Shortened Cullan Brown Collegiate

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Inclement weather continued to play a part into the second day of the Cullan Brown Collegiate. After play was suspended last night in the middle of the second round, Memphis was able to finish up this morning and claim seventh place in a shortened 36-hole tournament.

The Tigers were led by Yixiang Wang who finished with a share of fourth place at four under par. Wang shot a collegiate best yesterday with a 65 round one score with seven birdies, four of them coming on the front nine.

Cian O'Connor was not far behind Wang at one under par for the weekend after shooting an even par in round two. Tobey Kimfinished the tournament at two over par while Diego Lourenco and Christian Morneau rounded out the team at five and 10 over par, respectively.
