Memphis, UTSA to Battle on ESPNU as American Conference Announces Tip Times and TV Designations

IRVING, Texas – The American Conference announced women's basketball TV designations and tip times on Tuesday afternoon, with Memphis set to play its first conference game on national television since 2023.
The Tigers will battle UTSA on ESPNU on March 1, 2026, in San Antonio. The last nationally televised game of the American Conference slate, a tip time will be announced at a later date.
Last season, UTSA defeated Memphis, 70-68, at Elma Roane Fieldhouse before pulling away late to win in San Antonio, 80-61, en route to the regular season conference championship.
Though the Tigers went two seasons without any conference battles on national TV, they played No. 18/16 Tennessee on ESPNEWS on December 18, 2024, and Louisville on ESPNU three days later, both at FedEx Forum. Their exhibition with Vanderbilt next Monday, October 27, will also be broadcast on ESPNU as part of the Hoops for St. Jude Tip-Off Classic.
