Simmons Adds Strong Post Presence in Fulmore

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Head women's basketball coach Alex Simmons continues to build her roster for the upcoming 2024-25 roster with the addition of Quinzia Fulmore.
"Quin brings, size, athleticism, skill and great energy to our program. She loves the game of basketball and has passion to be successful. She has plenty of playing experience at a high a level and will add depth to our roster," Simmons said.
Fulmore comes to Memphis after two three seasons at Towson where she appeared in 74 games while making 48 starts for the Tigers. This past season, the 6-3 post player was fourth on the team in scoring with 7.8 points per game and second with 148 total rebounds. Fulmore reached double-figure scoring on 10 occasions while picking up three double-doubles.
During her sophomore season, Fulmore helped to lead the team to a 21-12 record with 10.1 points per contest and a team-best 242 rebounds. The Greensboro, N.C. native poured in a career-high 16 points against North Carolina A&T and Elon and was named to the CAA All-Tournament Team after averaging 10.7 points and 8.0 rebounds during the CAA Championship.
As a true freshman, Fulmore played in 13 games scoring 32 points and grabbing 27 rebounds.
Fulmore prepped ay Dudley High School where she averaged 13.5 points, 7.5 boards and 2.1 steals per game while shooting over 56 percent from the field.
