BELLEAIR, Florida – The University of Memphis men's golf team finished fourth overall with a team score of 847 (+7) in the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Championship Sunday afternoon at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. South Florida won the 12-team tournament with a total of 828 (-12).

"It was a disappointing final round after two very competitive days," Memphis head coach Blake Smart said. "We drew even with the leaders early but couldn't maintain the pace throughout the day. Two years in a row of being in the final pairing is progress and we have to find a way to break through and become a championship team again."

Key Moments

Andrew Baucum and Esteban Vazquez led the Tigers with top-20 finishes as they each tied for 17^th with a 212.
Adam Coull earned a top-20 placing as well for the Tigers, tying for 19^th with final stroke count of 213 after carding rounds of 70-69-74.
Yixiang Wang finished T-22^nd, jumping up seven places on Sunday with a final score of 214.
Diego Lourenco rounded out the Tigers, finishing T-38^th with a final score of 218.

The Tigers notched their eighth top-10 finish of the season and their fourth top-five placing, which includes a 1^st-place finish at the Gulf Coast Collegiate.
Baucum's second round 67 was a season best 18-hole total.
Vazquez tallied his fourth top-20 finish of the season. He claimed runner-up at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate.
Coull totaled his fourth top-20 finish, that includes two top-10 finishes this season.
In his first season as a Tiger, Wang earned a top-five finish at the Gulf Coast Collegiate.
