Tigers Start Hot at Mercedes Benz Collegiate

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's golf team shot a season-low in the opening round of the Mercedes Benz Collegiate with a score of 287 and in a three-way tie for second place. Individually, three Tigers are in the hunt for the top spot with Emily Wilson leading the way at one under par.

Wilson, who shot a season round low today, currently sits in a five-way tie for second place. Claire Swathwood and Nutsanun Khamphueng are right behind her after bringing in scores of 72 while Tilly Garfoot starts tomorrows round two at four over par. Carla Van Remmen rounds out the team at 13 over par.
