Hagg, Miller Named to AAC Weekly Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following a two-win week where the Tigers took shutout victories over North Texas and UT Martin, Sarah Hagg and Saorla Miller have been named to the American Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll.
Hagg, a junior out of Horgenzell, Germany, helped the Tiger backline to back-to-back shutouts while holding UT Martin to just one shot the entire match. Hagg would also assist on the eventual game-winning goal over North Texas to give Memphis their first AAC win of the season.
This is the first AAC Weekly Award for Hagg for her career.
Miller, a 5th year senior out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, netted two goals this weekend to put her season total up to seven. She would find the back of the net in the 72' over North Texas that would later stand as the game-winning goal, her third for the year. Miller would follow that performance up with an insurance goal in the team's 4-0 win over UT Martin on Sunday night.
This is the third AAC Weekly Award for Miller this season and the sixth of her career.
