Tigers Announce 2023 Cross Country Slate

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis Cross Country team is set for its 2023 slate of competition. The Tigers' 2023 schedule features six total meets leading up to the NCAA Championships scheduled for November 18.
The Tigers will get their season started at home, running in the annual City Auto Memphis Twilight Classic on Sept. 2. Four men (Zachary Wyatt, Payton Gleason, Vincent Chenier, Hudson Hurst) and Chloe Figgins (runner up) all turned in top-10 finishes for the Tigers at last year's Twilight Classic.
Memphis competes twice more in the month of September at the North Alabama Showcase (Sept. 15) and Greater Louisville Classic (Sept. 30).
The Tigers kickstart October with the Crimson Cross Country Classic in Tuscaloosa, Ala. (Oct. 13), before heading to Greenville, N.C., to begin postseason competition at the AAC Championships (Oct. 28).
On November 10, Memphis will compete at the NCAA South Regional Championships in Gainesville, Fla., for a chance to qualify to the NCAA Championships in Charlottesville, Va. (Nov. 18).
