Free Fan Fest Set for Friday, Aug. 18

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Athletics will celebrate the start of fall sports season with a free Fan Fest on Friday, Aug. 18, presented by MAPCO. The event will run from 5:45-7:30 p.m. at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field, and admission and parking are free for all fans.

Fan Fest will feature a movie on the videoboard, games and activities with Memphis student-athletes from football, volleyball, men's soccer and women's soccer, inflatables, food and beverages and more. Fall sports coaches will also address the crowd and preview the upcoming seasons during a question-and-answer session hosted by the Voice of the Tigers, Dave Woloshin.

Following the event, the 901 Fund will be sponsoring a free autograph session with the teams.

Memphis Women's Soccer begins its regular season on Thursday, Aug. 17 against Southern, men's soccer's regular season starts Thursday, Aug. 24 at Green Bay, Memphis Volleyball gets underway on Friday, Aug. 25 against Alcorn State and Memphis Football begins its season on Saturday, Sept. 2 against Bethune-Cookman.
