Rodrigues dos Santos Named College Soccer News National Player of the Week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The awards keep rolling in for men's soccer midfielder Lineker Rodrigues dos Santos as he was named the College Soccer News National Player of the Week.

Rodrigues dos Santos, a junior out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has been a force for the Tigers to start the season; during opening weekend, he recorded three goals over the two-game span while notching one assist. After scoring the game-winning goal over Green Bay in the team's season opener, Rodrigues dos Santos followed up with two goals at Northern Illinois – his second career multi-goal game.

Rodrigues dos Santos was also named as the American Athletic Conferences Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

This is the first career National Player of the Week award for Rodrigues dos Santos.
