Memphis Ready for Brickyard Collegiate

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's golf team will head to Macon, Ga. to compete in the Brickyard Collegiate. The two-day tournament begins on Monday, April 10 and runs through Tuesday, April 11. Live scoring for the event can be found at GoTigersGo.com.
"I believe we have an opportunity to end the regular season at the top of this leaderboard," head coach Jennifer Jordan said. "This golf course is challenging and a lot of fun to play. We finished second at this event last year and we are looking forward to competing this week."
The 54-hole tournament will be played at the Brickyard Golf Club, with teams playing the first two rounds on Monday at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start. Tuesday's third and final round will also begin at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.
The eight-team field includes Memphis, Cincinnati, Incarnate Word, Mercer, Seminole State, Southern Illinois, Tennessee Tech and Troy.
Last time out, freshman Tilly Garfoot led the Tigers at the Bama Beach Bash, tying for 25th place with a score of 231 (+15).
