ORLANDO – The sixth-seeded Memphis women's tennis team broke out the brooms for a second-straight day in the American Athletic Conference Championship as the Tigers swept No. 3 South Florida, 4-0, in the quarterfinal round Thursday afternoon at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.

"Proud of the team's effort today," head coach Hayden Perez said. "We played a team today that we faced last week with only one match up in singles or doubles that was the same.
"The girls matched their energy from yesterday and played at a high level. I can't wait for another challenge tomorrow. Go Tigers Go."
