Alemany Named AAC Player of the Week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After a 4-0 week on the court in wins over No. 13 Northwestern and Tennessee State, Pablo Alemany has been named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week for men's tennis for the second time this season.

Alemany scored a 6-2, 6-4 decision at No. 1 singles against the Wildcats and took a three-set win at No. 1 against Tennessee State (6-2, 4-6, 6-3). He added a pair of victories at No. 3 doubles and improved his 2023 dual match records to 6-1 in singles and 5-2 in doubles.

The Valencia, Spain native is the American's highest-ranked singles player at No. 35 in the ITA rankings.
